Is your tooth clean? Did you comb your hairs?

”Is your tooth clean?"

"Is your tooth clean?"
Are your
teeth clean?"

”Did you comb your (three)
hairs?" や ”Did you wash your
(three) hairs?"
Did you comb
your hair?やDid you wash your
hair?"

Toothbrush, toothpaste

”decayed tooth" (cavities)で

"Mary has a sweet tooth".

を”lie through one's
teeth" 例えば ”He was
lying through his teeth".

"be [get] long in the tooth"

Teething babies often
cry".

Hi Mr. Carty,
Thank you for your interesting comments on the tooth. As indicated, dental doctors say "teeth cleaning", similar to "teeth arrangement". Also, "teeth grinding" and "teeth mark" is more common. Is the term, "tooth" is something special in English? Indeed, the term, "foot", that summarily shows an irregular pleural form, “feet”, has little examples, except “feet bottom”. How do you think?

Thank you for your comment about "feet bottom". 水虫
is "athletes' foot and not "athlete's foot, As for tooth, arrangement presupposes a plural, so "teeth arrangement" is appropriate. I always appreciate your "weighing in" about various topics.
